Saracens has agreed to work with sport and entertainment marketing consultancy The Value Xchange to provide sponsorship sales support to help bring new commercial partners to the Club, across Saracens Men, Saracens Women and Saracens Mavericks.
Established in 1876, Saracens is North London’s premier rugby club competing in the Gallagher Premiership, the European Champions Cup, the Allianz Premier 15s and the Premiership Rugby Cup.
Saracens Men, with a wealth of international talent and household names, finished second in the Gallagher Premiership last season and reached the semi-final of the European Champions Cup.
Saracens Women, founded in 1989, is the current and sixteen-time champion of the Allianz Premier 15’s, and had nineteen players represent their countries at the recent Rugby World Cup.
Together with netball team Saracens Mavericks, they have put Saracens at the forefront of women’s sport. Founded in 2005, Saracens Mavericks play in the Netball Superleague. A founding member of the Superleague, they were Champions in 2007/08 and 2011.
Saracens is also leading from the front in terms of sustainability and community initiatives. It is on a journey to becoming carbon net-zero by 2030, it continues to support the local community through the Saracens Foundation and is the first and only sports team to open a High School. Only last month Saracens were nominated for two Sport Industry Awards ahead of the upcoming awards ceremony in London. Nominated for the Tessa Jowell Community Award and for Purpose Driven Sponsorship, Sarries will be represented on the 27th April at Evolution London to celebrate their achievements.
Seb Salter, Head of Partnership Sales at Saracens said: “It’s an incredibly exciting era for Saracens both on and off the field of play. Whilst we continue to push for domestic and international honours, we remain equally focused on our commitment to sustainability and making a positive impact in our community. We’re very fortunate to have such a proactive and engaged family of commercial partners, and we’re looking forward to working with The Value Xchange to bring new brands into the Saracens family.”
The Value Xchange, who will be working with Saracens on a non-exclusive basis, has extensive experience of helping brands and rights owners maximise the impact partnerships have for the brand, the rights-owner and the fan experience.
The Value Xchange Founder, David Peters, commented: “We are delighted to be supporting Saracens in the search for new commercial partners. With such a strong brand, a unique proposition across men’s and women’s and two sports, and with access to a diverse, affluent and loyal fan base it’s a very compelling proposition for the right brands.”
